Meeting with Information and Public Relations Department, Sikkim
A meeting was conducted between The Northeast India AV Archive and the IPR Department, Sikkim at their office in Gangtok in May 2022. The Memory Crate
The memory crate project was furthered by The Northeast India AV Archive in collaboration with the Department of Tourism, Government of Meghalaya, as part of the ‘Meghalaya at 50’ celebration, commemorating the fiftieth year of the birth of Meghalaya as a state. Collaboration with the DIPR, Government of Meghalaya

Exhibition at Jowai
Also an endeavour undertaken as part of the 'Road to 50', the exhibition held in Jowai displayed photographs taken of key figures in the Hill State Movement, and the landscape and people of the Khasi, Garo and Jaintia Hills during colonial times. There was also an impromptu quiz conducted by The Northeast India AV Archive for the brilliant school students of Jowai who paid a visit to the exhibition.

Collaboration with the Department of Tourism
The Northeast India AV Archive scanned and catalogued over 3,700 photographs that the Department of Tourism, Government of Meghalaya owns. The process was bound to make access to the photographs easy and was the first step in our long collaboration with the Department of Tourism which continues to this day.
