Peitngor Cable News (PCN) is a pioneering local Khasi News channel, which brings news collected from across Meghalaya to the people watching it, every Sunday of every week. PCN's unique feature is its special programme which features the most interesting events, people and activities from across the state, and which therefore sets it apart from other news channels in the state. Its first episode was aired in 1999, and it continues to deliver quality weekly news to this day.
The Northeast India AV Archive is digitising and archiving the VHS tapes on which the early episodes of PCN were recorded.
