Exhibition at Siju

The photo exhibition at Siju, Baghmara, Garo Hills in the spring of 2021, was the first of its kind that The Northeast India AV Archive organised in the Garo Hills. It was part of the wider project called 'Road to 50', celebrating the efforts that lead to the attainment of Meghalaya's full-fledged statehood. The Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Conrad Sangma inaugurated the exhibition which was a demonstration of the Hill State Movement and the leading figures who pushed the action to attain the new State.
