Celebrating the birth anniversary of Purno Sangma

In one of our projects on archiving photographs, we were able to retrieve, digitise, catalogue and store photographs of Late Purno Sangma, the erstwhile Chief Minister of Meghalaya and Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha which were taken during his terms in office. The photographs reveal the illustrious years that Purno Sangma had in his career as a political leader. On the occassion of his birth anniversary, we along with Dr Rev Brother Albert Longley Dkhar, the Principal of St Anthony's College Shillong were glad to have presented the photographs taken of him to his son, Conrad Sangma, the present Chief Minister of Meghalaya in the presence of James K Sangma, former member of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly, and elder brother of Conrad Sangma.
