Full Length Documentary Film on birth & death rituals of Mishmi tribe | AP| India | 2019

The documentary highlights the Birth and Death Rituals of the Kman and Tawrã Mishmi community inhabiting the two districts of Lohit and Anjaw in the state of Arunachal Pradesh. The documentary is non- fictional and the footage of various sequences of the Rituals was video graphed during the actual performance of the rituals. The documentary is an endeavour of the Cultural & Literary Society of Mishmi (CALSOM) to perpetuate the traditional ritualistic practice of the Mishmi Tribe in order to pass it on to posterity. The documentary is neither intended to hurt the religious belief of any other faith nor to challenge the ritualistic practice of any community.
